Every email your site sends, logged — so "did WordPress send it?" is never a mystery again.
Getting started
Activate and it starts logging immediately: Tools → Email Log shows every outgoing message with recipient, subject, time and status. Click a row for the full message.
Safe previews
When you open a logged message, the preview blocks remote images, tracking pixels and remote styles by default — so viewing a message can't notify the sender or leak your server's IP address. Use the Load remote images button to load them on demand when you trust the message.
Settings
- Log message bodies — off if you only need the envelope.
- Retention — old rows are pruned automatically on your schedule.
Data & privacy
Logged emails can contain personal data — set retention accordingly. Everything lives in your own database. Uninstalling keeps the log by default; the delete-data option is available for clean removals (or via WP-CLI: wp option update dragonemaillog_delete_data_on_uninstall 1).
Pairs naturally with
Dragon SMTP for delivery — and every Dragon SMTP Pro licence includes Email Log Pro (resend failed emails, CSV/JSON export, Slack failure alerts, delivery diagnostics) at no extra cost.
