Dragon Core is a UK web development company founded by Richard Powell. We build websites, web applications and WordPress plugins, and you work directly with the person building yours.
Our story
Richard Powell started building websites as a teenager, more than 20 years ago, and has worked in web development ever since, including agency work before founding Dragon Core. Today that goes into client websites, our own products like FunFactz, a set of WordPress plugins, and the platform we use to run the business.
We stay small on purpose. There is no account manager passing messages along: the person you talk to is the person writing the code, so things move quickly and nothing gets lost in between.

Richard has been building websites for more than 20 years, starting as a teenager and working agency-side before founding Dragon Core. He is a full-stack developer: design, front end, back end, servers and everything in between.
He still writes the code on every project. Alongside client work he runs FunFactz, a fact site whose Facebook page is followed by 195,000 people, and builds the Dragon plugins for WordPress.
