Requires the free Dragon Email Log. Included free with every Dragon SMTP Pro licence — the same key activates both.
Licence
Enter your licence key on the plugin's settings screen (keys are in your dragoncore.ltd dashboard). Keys are stored encrypted; a licence covers the number of sites you bought it for (1, 5 or unlimited), and you can deactivate a site from the same screen to free its place for another. Updates are delivered automatically to licensed sites. If the licence lapses, the plugin keeps working with every Pro feature on each activated site; what stops is new versions and support, and renewing restores both on the same key. Renewal reminders arrive by email about two weeks before the period ends.
Multisite: the licence is activated per site. Each subdomain or mapped domain uses a seat; subdirectory sites share one.
Features
- Resend - retry any logged email in one click. The resend is logged as its own entry marked "Resent from #N", and the original shows "Resent as #N" with the resend's outcome (Sent or Failed); the original keeps its own status. An email whose body was not logged cannot be resent (turn on Log Email Body in the Email Log settings for future emails); the resend is refused with a message rather than sending a placeholder.
- Export - CSV/JSON of every logged email (the export includes all rows, not only those matching the log filters). With Dragon Email Log 1.0.14 or later, dates are in UTC, as the CSV's Date (UTC) heading says; with an older free plugin they are the database server's local time and the heading is Date. The CSV's column headings, status and source are written in your site's language.
- Filters - date range and regex filters on the log list. Dates are days in your site's time zone. The regex is checked by your database, which runs it; if it can't read the pattern, the filter is not applied and a message says so.
- Slack alerts - failure notifications where you'll see them. The Test buttons test the URL currently in the field, so you can check it before saving.
- Diagnostics - delivery troubleshooting for failed sends. Checks the From address WordPress actually uses (after any SMTP plugin's changes) and looks up MX and SPF records for that address's domain. Recognises Dragon SMTP and Dragon SMTP Pro, WP Mail SMTP, Post SMTP, FluentSMTP and other common mailers, including network-activated ones. A failed test email shows the mail server's error.
Uninstall
Deleting the plugin keeps all its data by default, so a reinstall picks up where you left off. To remove everything on uninstall, opt in first:
