Where it started
FunFactz began as an old PHP site holding about 3,500 facts. It worked, but it was showing its age. We rebuilt it on a modern stack, checked and moved every fact across, and built the tools to publish them where people actually spend their time: Facebook. Since then we have written 983 new researched, sourced facts in 2026 alone.
A new site, built from scratch
Every fact has its own page with its source, topic and tags. Readers can search, browse by topic, take a quiz, see what's being shared most this week and sign up for the newsletter.
Sources on every fact
Each fact carries the source it came from and a record of how it was checked. Popular pages get a longer article with the background to the story.
A publishing system for Facebook
Posts are queued, scheduled and sent from our own admin, with images made to suit the feed. Short video versions of the strongest facts go out as well.
Measuring what works
Views, reactions and shares come back in for every post, so we can see which topics and formats land and choose the next posts from that.
The audience
Growing every month, and shared more than ever
The page reaches a young, international audience. The biggest age group is 25 to 34, and the US is the largest country, followed by India and the Philippines. History and entertainment stories get shared the most: together, more than 67,000 shares in the last 90 days.

How we work
Our own tools do the legwork. We set the standards.
We built the software behind FunFactz ourselves: it finds stories, gathers sources, drafts and checks claims against those sources. We set the editorial rules, decide what counts as true, and read the results every day. That is how FunFactz publishes every day without cutting corners.
1Find
We look for true stories people want to pass on: surprising, specific and easy to understand at a glance.
2Check
Every claim is checked against its sources before it goes out. When we audited the 3,436 facts inherited from the old site, 443 were false and 226 out of date. The false ones now live on a myths page instead.
3Write
Written for how people read on a phone: the point first, no filler, and an image made for the feed.
4Publish
Around three posts a day, spaced through the day, with the full story on the website for anyone who wants more.
5Learn
Every post's results feed back into what we choose next. The numbers decide, not hunches.
Why it matters for you
Want a site people come back to?
FunFactz is ours, so we live with every decision we make on it. The same approach goes into client work: a fast site that is easy to keep up to date, content people want to share, and numbers that show what is working instead of guesses.
Signs we can help
- Your website hasn't really changed in years
- Posting on social media happens when someone remembers
- You can't tell which pages or posts bring in customers
