Dragon SMTP

A quiet pointer to the Pro add-on: an Upgrade to Pro link on the Plugins screen, a one-line note at the foot of the plugin's screens, and a single dismissible notice once the plugin has done its job. Nothing in the free plugin is locked or changed, and all three disappear when Pro is active.

• New dragonsmtp_test_email_sent action fires when a test email goes out.

A failed settings import is now reported as an error instead of "Settings imported".

What's fixed in 1.0.12

• Import confirms what it stored. Importing settings from WP Mail SMTP, FluentSMTP, Easy WP SMTP or Post SMTP treated the write as successful without checking it, then redirected to the Connection tab with "Settings imported" over unchanged SMTP settings. The import now re-reads the saved settings and, if they were not stored, stays on the Import tab with an error so you can try again.
• The old-option migration keeps its source until confirmed. The one-time move of settings from the pre-1.0.2 option name no longer deletes the old copy before the new one is verified.
• Importing settings no longer destroys the SMTP password. The imported password was encrypted, and then encrypted a second time as WordPress stored it, so what was saved could not be decrypted and mail stopped authenticating. The screen also reported the import as failed even though the other settings had changed. The password is now encrypted exactly once and the import reports what was actually stored.

No settings, data or behaviour changes otherwise.

Documentation update: the readme now spells out exactly which DNS lookups the Deliverability tab makes and lists the current wp-config.php constant names.

• Documentation: the External services section now describes exactly which DNS lookups the Deliverability tab performs (SPF, DMARC and DKIM selector probes via your server's resolver; nothing is sent to any third-party API).

Documents exactly what is handed to your SMTP provider and what the deliverability check queries, adds a Delete-data-on-uninstall setting, and makes the conflict notice dismissible.

Fixed: the "Get set up in two minutes" card no longer stays on screen for Dragon SMTP Pro sites that send through an API provider (Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun, Brevo, Resend) — those sites don't need an SMTP host, so the card was showing permanently.

A guided first run, plus safer uninstall.

A new get-started panel walks the first-time setup end to end. Uninstalling also no longer deletes your settings unless you explicitly opt in.

A cleaner, consistent look: the Dragon design system arrives.

This release brings Dragon Core's design system to every screen: a consistent header with the Dragon mark, cleaner tables, and unified status colours across the whole plugin family. Purely visual — everything behaves exactly as before.
